This year marks Suri’s upcoming 18th birthday, and she is likely preparing to leave for college this autumn. It is evident that Katie and Suri share a tight bond, evident from their public outings and the actress’s heartfelt remarks on motherhood in various interviews.
Katie, being extremely protective, has taken great care to shield Suri – despite being the offspring of two of Hollywood’s most renowned celebrities – from the public eye during her formative years.
Parenting specialist Heidi Skudder from The Baby Shower and the founder of Positively Parenthood, discussed Katie’s parenting approach with HELLO!, highlighting how she has adeptly managed to strike a balance by granting Suri a glimpse into the limelight through her professional endeavors while safeguarding her privacy.
Describing Katie’s parenting style, Heidi stated, “Katie seems to employ an exceptionally responsive parenting approach in her interactions with Suri. She has previously expressed her profound joy in motherhood, undoubtedly investing significantly in their mother-daughter relationship.”

In an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Katie praised Suri’s performance in “Alone Together,” emphasizing her daughter’s exceptional talent. She entrusted Suri with the role, stating, “She’s very, very talented. She said she would do it and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing.”
